Follow the Dolphin

Follow the Dolphin
(John Hyatt)

I'm trading all my sorrows for an ocean and a breeze,
Sister trim the sails and we'll be leaving.
And off the coast of Florida, Jamaica calls to me,
And I can almost hear my lover breathing.

Seagulls hang like kites above the caribbean sea,
You know that starlight spins the sky a web of diamonds
Out beyond the harbor lights is where I want to be.
I'm gonna be drifting in my daydreams to the islands.

And the spirit of the sailor, it whispers in the wind:
Follow the dolphin, follow the dolphin, follow the dolphin.

And Tennessee, I've said goodbye a thousand time before,
You know your mountains are as gracious as your ladies.
Now I need to hear a voice inside the ocean's roar,
As you might hear the crying of the babies.

And the spirit of the sailor, it whispers in the wind:
Follow the dolphin, follow the dolphin, follow the dolphin.
Follow the dolphin.
